10 Mirage Smokes Every Player Should Know

You get smokes for both sides of Mirage. On T, they split mid, wall off A before the plant and cover Market Window for B. On CT, they slow the A push or cover a lurk from Connector. Most decide who owns mid early, and whether your A hit avoids a crossfire from Jungle Bench.

Mid comes first. The Top Mid smoke hides your walk from Chair. The Window smoke shuts Rat Hole out of the mid fight. With the Connector smoke up, the CT on Mid Bench can't watch your players crossing toward Catwalk. On A, the Stairs smoke and the Jungle smoke both cut off Jungle Bench, so pick whichever fits where your team starts. The Jungle one goes out from T Roof, handy if a player already sits up there. The CT smoke walls Ticket Booth off from the site, and your planter works by Triple without a rotator trading him. For B, the Market Window smoke stops the CT in Market or on Shelf from shooting your push out of Apartments. Your entry then clears Checkout and E Box without a look from Market.

On A, the Palace smoke walls Palace Pillars off, so you play Balcony or Fire Box without a swing from Palace. The Ramp smoke cuts T Roof off from the site. Your anchor on Tetris can reposition while the Ts hesitate. Both work as delays, buying a rotate from mid. In mid, the Connector lurk smoke sits on your own side and hides you from Mid and Catwalk. Throw it from Top Connec, then slip toward Chair to catch the Ts walking up.

As a T, pair the Stairs smoke with the CT smoke on A. Miss Stairs and the player on Jungle Bench shoots your planter at Triple.
