About nades.ai
An instrument that reports what the pros are actually throwing, read from real match demos, ranked by pro use and results, and proven with video.
What nades.ai is
nades.ai is a scouting tool for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) utility, the game that replaced CS:GO. Instead of a hand-made catalog of lineups, it reads professional match demos and extracts the smokes, flashes, molotovs, and HE grenades that pros throw, then shows you the ones used most and working best, backed by a video of the throw.
The goal is narrow and honest: get you to a proven lineup fast, and make the proof legible at a glance. If pros aren't throwing it, it isn't here.
How the data is built
Every lineup on the site travels the same path, from raw demo to a published entry with evidence attached.
- 01
Collect
We take in professional match demos as they become publicly available: real games, real players, real rounds.
- 02
Analyze
Each demo is parsed tick by tick to extract every grenade thrown: where it left the hand, where it landed, and when.
- 03
Cluster
Throws that start and land in the same place are grouped into a single lineup, so repeated pro setups surface as one entry with a usage count.
- 04
Curate
Each lineup is reviewed and labelled by hand, and the throw is filmed.
- 05
Publish
The lineup goes live with its evidence attached: how many times pros threw it, in how many matches, when it was last seen, and by which teams.
What makes it different
Three things, told plainly. None of them require you to trust a number you can't see the source of.
Dated, not stale
Every lineup carries the date it was last thrown in a pro match. The genre’s biggest trust problem is stale lineups from patches ago; ours tell you when they were last proven.
Learn this first
Lineups are ranked by pro use and results, so you are not paralyzed by a flat wall of options. The setups pros use most and that work best rise to the top.
Every number is sourced
Counts, matches, and teams come straight from the demos we read. No lineup arrives without proof of who threw it and how often.
Who's behind it
nades.ai is an independent project by one developer who plays Counter-Strike and wanted to know which lineups pros actually use. The data pipeline and the site are one person's work, kept deliberately honest about what it can and can't tell you. It is not affiliated with Valve or with any team or tournament named on the site.
